Responsible Gaming

Gambling should be entertainment, never a way to make money or solve financial problems. You must be 18 or older, and you should check the laws that apply to you before using any gambling service.

Access in Australia

ACMA has blocked thepokies.net in Australia as an illegal offshore gambling website, and no Australian licence has been verified for the brand. This page does not provide access to it.

Keep control

• Set a budget before you play and treat it as money already spent.
• Set time limits and take regular breaks.
• Never chase losses or gamble with borrowed money.
• Avoid gambling when stressed, tired or under the influence of alcohol.

The demo slot

The mini-game on our home page is free and non-monetary. Its 70% win rate is an internal demo setting and says nothing about real pokies, which are designed so the house keeps an edge over time.
